• Adds a preference for replacing or overriding a name with information from the “SubstituteCaller” database. This can be used when someone from a company calls you and you want your contacts name to appear instead of the company’s name. Note: all calls from this company or PBX will have the same phone number so you may have incorrect information displayed if multiple people call you from this location.
• Adds a preference to delete all calls that do not have a phone number when you quit the application.
• Adds ability to copy currently selected selected or displayed caller information to the clipboard.
• Mac CallerID will now reinitialize the serial port when another application is finished using it. This will take place automatically as long as Mac CallerID was previously able to initialize the port.
• Attach Name and Number is now stored in a database file. Meaning the limit of 25 names has been eliminated. You can now store up to 7999.
• Mac CallerID now supports the required Apple Events and some of the "Core" Apple Events. Events supported are count, delete, get, set, and get data size. These commands can be executed from another application or via AppleScript or other Scripting language.
• Preference to have Mac CallerID speak the name or number of who is calling. Note to use this feature, you must have the "Speech Manager Extension" installed. MacinTalk Pro and Voices folder is optional.
